A Note About the Davenport Debate on Oct. 11th, 2022

I wanted to address my absence at last night’s candidate debate put on by the Northcliffe and Regal Heights Residents’ Associations. I’ve had residents reach out this morning asking why I wasn’t there. First, plain and simple: I was excluded. Second, when I found out that I had been and asked for the opportunity to participate, the debate organizers told me they did not want me there. As the first candidate to register in the ward, before the incumbent stepped down, it was a disappointing response. It is heartening to see that my absence did not go unnoticed. Don’t worry, you’ll see me on your doorsteps soon. In the meantime, let’s stay in touch.
